Hearing the Call & Accepting It

Good Morning,

It's been a moment since I have posted on the blog. But, I got up this morning with many things on my mind. One being the embrace of the previous weekend. Many things in life can cause people to think it's time to throw in the towel. But God!!! He will and does show up at our least expectence.

On April 27, 2013, my hubby came in from a hang-out session with a few of his family|buddies. This time his arrival was more than I could have ever expected; he showed up with a move of God in his heart. God was working a work, which my mind literally had to sit back and listen to my hubby's heart. He began to praise the Lord, yes I mean figuratively. My husband began shouting "Yes Lord, I hear You, I know what I am called to Do." Hubby stated, I may not ever have a pulpit but I just might be one of those street preachers. And, he continuously praised the Lord. But, you see it was more to this, we are raising a grandson and he began to say things like, I know why God allowed Amar'e to be here, it's for me. God has His own 'Perfect' way of getting a person's attention. And, the majority of the time it is not the way we expect.

My hubby recognized their is a calling on my life and encouraged me to do what God has called me to do. He stated, whether we are together or not we both have a work to do. You see, the latter statement was made because of the numerous of things which have occurred in our relationship. So, I am standing knowing this too is in the hands of God. I, Karen, believe God did not allow this journey to come to this point without completing the work because He that began a Good Work, will most definitely complete the work. I have a Spirit of Expectation.

In closing, in the words of Tasha Cobb's song "Break Every Chain." We must trust God to break every chain of interruption the devil attempts to place in our paths to distract us from purpose.

Staying the Course in Jesus Name.
